Ok stop what you’re doing and make this juice. It is so yummy!!! A big glass of juice is a great way to start your day. You get lots of good nutrients and it will leave you feeling super energized! I made this Schpanana Juice this morning after boot camp and had to immediately share because it is just that good.
Start out by juicing the banana. At first, you may not see any juice coming out from the banana, and you’ll be like “Now, waiiittt a minute…” And you’ll say it the way they say it in that song “Shout.” And then the person next to you will be like, “Ok drama queen, save it for American Idol.” But you will have faith that your banana juice is coming, and you will continue to juice. The other ingredients, especially the carrots, will continue to push that banana juice through. And when you gulp down this juice, you will definitely taste the banana – it gives it a yummy creaminess! P.S. This is a great way to use up really ripe bananas before they go bad.

- 1 ripe banana
- 1 large carrot, end trimmed
- 1 big ol’ heap of spinach
- 1 lemon peeled
- 2 granny smith apples, cored
- 1/4 inch slice of ginger
1. Chop all ingredients so they will fit in your juicer.
2. Feed the banana into the juicer first.
3. Feed the rest of the ingredients into the juicer.
4. Drink immediately and enjoy!
